Sprints

Sprints provide opportunities for community-based teams to learn about community investment, adaptive leadership, and racial equity and to access one-on-one coaching and peer learning. These “sweet spot” learning opportunities are targeted, time-limited, collaborative, and action-oriented.

Strengthening Community Investment

In urban centers and rural areas across the U.K., leaders in climate resilience, housing and community development, planning, philanthropy, finance, economic development, and community organizing are coming together to undo the legacy of structural racism and long-term disinvestment. ACI’s capital absorption framework strengthens local community investment systems to create deal pipelines to unlock capital to create equitable communities where everyone can thrive.

Financing Affordable Housing

Healthy Housing, Healthy Communities

The Healthy Housing, Healthy Communities (H3C) Partnerships initiative aims to leverage the state housing finance agency’s role at the center of the affordable housing system to attract significant health institution involvement and elevate community-level leadership in addressing the worsening housing affordability crisis in America.

Health Partner Investment Learning Lab

Recognizing the deep tie between community development and health, for the past decade NeighborWorks America has supported their network in working “upstream” to improve living conditions and address social and racial inequities. Today, nearly 70% of the NeighborWorks network is advancing health strategies in their communities.
